Southway Playcare provides a high quality childcare service for children from the age 4yrs-11yrs in a fun in a safe, secure, warm, friendly and loving environment with stimulating play.
We believe that every child is unique and has the right to PLAY and have FUN. Our work supports working parents and families in our local community.

What We Do
We offer a safe and friendly environment in which can children develop, grow and make new friends. We offer children the opportunity to mix with friends from other schools which gives them confidence and great social skills.
OFSTED Registered, we offer an After School Club, Holiday Club, Childcare and Junior Youth Club.
We also offer Inclusive Services and Concessions, ensuring every child and family has equal opportunity to learn, grow and play.
Our Origin
Southway Playcare started as an Holiday Play scheme provision in February 1987. Linn Nunn and Theresa Grant set up the organisation. On 17th June 2013, Southway Playcare developed into a Community Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Southway Playcare has been running during the holidays as a play scheme for over 30 years. We run Southway Playcare at Southway Youth and Community Centre where the project started.
